just a quick one

the lakers staged a stunningly thrilling comeback against the spurs
in game one
i think they had a little too much time off before the game
and the spurs were really in that competitive groove having just
played a game 7 a couple of days before
but, the lakers settled into it by the second half and kobe took over
and they all did what they needed to do
it was so exciting at the game, just a thrilling one, i screamed my
guts out the whole time like a praying animal
it was a real roller coaster of a white knuckler nail biter dynamic
game the lakers really showed some poise

tim duncan is an incredible basketball player

bruce bowens elbow to the face/collarbone/neck of sasha vujacic was
really a cheap shot done on purpose, i thought it was
really lame
i believe that if any player has to face some sort of retribution for a
dirty play he should face one for that

kobe is king

i am playing the star spangled banner at tonights game 2 at staples center
i am excited to do that, to support the lakers, to play for what i think is beautiful about our country
and to quote the great american virtuoso charlie parker

it is a sad and beautiful world
