ok the celtics beat the lakers soundly in both games in boston

very painful for me

but...

i take heart in that,

despite the lakers playing not well, and the celtics being at the
top of their game,
the lakers still had the opportunity to win in the last couple of
minutes in both of those games......

last night at game 3
i screamed the blood curdling scream of an enraged bull elephant for
the entire length of the game

DE FENSE! DE FENSE! DE FENSE! DE FENSE! DE FENSE!

LETS GO LAKERS!!!

COME ON LAKERS!!!

WAY TO STAND UP TO HIM JORDAN!!!

THEY CANT GUARD YOU KOBE!!!!

GET EM FISH!!!!!

GET IN YOUR GROOVE LAMAR YOU RULE!!!!!!!!

and so on at maximum throat shredding volume


i might have been a little carried away
but that is what happiness is
letting it all out

after the game i went to the bathroom and there was a celtic fan in
there and i was raising my arms in the air
and yelling "gooooo laaakers!!!!!" at him as loud as i could
i hope i didn't scare him or anything
he actually seemed fine with it
but in all my swept away in finals lakerness
i would not want to scare another human being
but like i said, the guy remained at ease and seemed amused at me

i am just damn excited

this is an emotional time

if i have ever been wrong about anything in my life
i have been wrong about sasha vujacic
up until this season
i have questioned him, his ability to be a consistently productive
player

man was i wrong

that guy has been awesome all season
and not only did he drain em from all over the court last night
but he put the clamps down on ray allen and did great on paul pierce
when he guarded him
i know ray allen scored some baskets last night, but when it counted
sasha was all over him

the slovenian has intensity and heart and skill and work ethic

kobe was stunningly good, i mean, he just does this stuff at both
ends of the floor that people expect him to do
but........
holy cow
good god
god good
