Deep Thoughts From L.A...
Nov 14, 2008
firstly
congratulations barack obama!!!!
i don't think i have ever been so proud to be an american in my life
ok
basketball
the deepest part of the mighty blue ocean on this planet the depth of soul felt in jimi hendrix's solo on 'red house' how deep was albert einstein's brain? charlie parker's?
these are very DEEP things
and they are the metaphors that come to mind right now when i am wanting to express how DEEP this year's laker team is
holy cow!
when luke walton, who is a quality basketball player, is your last guy coming off the bench and it is not because he getting the marbury treatment, ya know you are in good shape
the lakers basically have two starting lineups worth of guys and it is an amazing thing to see for a laker fan
they have not just gotten better because andrew bynum is back
but because of their defeat at boston last season they have been forged a stronger and more resilient team
and trevor ariza has come back in great shape dropping threes like gum drops and bringing the thunderous dunks and bringing the intense d the guy is a serious athlete......serious
lamar, trevor, and jordan farmar coming off the bench? and sasha? are you kidding me??? hahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!!
everything about these lakers is FUN
they rule
this team just goes forever, if a couple of the starters are off, we got more starters on the bench, whoo hoo, a relentless river flowing with great basketball players
whatcha gonna do world?
in the rest of the nba
atlanta, man, those guys are really surprising, especially after childress took a powder to greece, wonder if they ca keep it up
knicks are lucky they got isiah out of there, they can have a somewhat healthy approach to being a basketball organization again
the celtics are the defending champs they are still great, but we got bynum and ariza back, see ya in june foolios
hard to tell how the pistons are gonna pan out with the answer, i love that a.i. though, he is my kind of guy, just love him
lebron is on fire in cavalier world, still hard to imagine them winning with that line up
in the west it is just all about the lakers.....
they destroyed the hornets last night
i really like greg oden, i know he has done nothing in the nba, i just like the kid he has a good vibe i hope he has a stellar career
nice to have baron davis in l.a. i love him too, but i gotta tell ya....
dear baron,
the clippers are doomed, it is impossible for them to ever win unless astronomical changes occur
the fish stinks from the head
that's all for now
flea
